Welcome to the website of the Southern Downs Aero & Soaring Club. We are a gliding club located in South East Queensland; which offers some of the most spectacular terrain and weather Australia has to offer.

We provide Air Experience Flights (AEFs) to allow you to taste what gliding is all about. This takes place in a dual controlled sailplane with a skilled instructor. We also offer all levels of soaring instruction to anyone wanting to learn how to fly. Soaring in gliders is one of the true forms of flying, staying aloft using natural air currents.
